Woodart decided to hold a Woodturning induction day on the 20th of July for seven new members, rather than one at a time. This is n offer to any new member that is inexperienced.
The session soon got underway with a spindle turning project which included, square to round, parting in, beads and coves.
The day also included sessions on, understand the lathe and safe operation and PPE. There were several sessions on individual tool techniques plus lots of Q & A.
Every one felt the day was valuable and went well. There was plenty of humour and banter included which helped to make it a pleasant experience.
