Woodart Castle Park display - Woodart Workshops

Woodart agreed to give two Woodcarving and Turning displays and demonstrations in the court yard at Castle Park. The first event took place on the 2nd of June 2019.

We also set up a display outside in the court yard, where people could ask questions and browse.

The day was very enjoyable, with lots of interest shown.

The second event on the 7th of July was equally enjoyable. Below are the images of our display.

The display was a good mix of both turning and carving. We received a lot of nice comments about our work plus a lot of questions about how the prjects were completed.

It was good to see how many people showed interest and eager to have a go.

There was also several displayes of our work outside of the gallery luckily the weather was in our favour.

Castle Park proved to be an excellent venue, and due to the hard work of our members, a fantastic day was achieved.
