Peter said he would bring along a few pieces of his work to put on a display for our members. I don’t think any one was expecting the display below.
Peter often does a session at the club to show members how to create different turned items, these sessions are always looked forward to and are always well received by our members.
I’ve known Peter for many years and have seen several pieces of his Segmented work but I hadn’t realised the wide selection that he held. His work includes, bowls, platters, hollow forms, boxes and complex knots.
Peter often designs forms his self and then produces the jigs to cut the segments. Often, these pieced can take several weeks to produce.
The image doesn’t do the work justice but the display was a sight to see.
