Our fund raising auction held on the 17th of October, raised a massive £1481. What generous members we have. As you can see below, donations were plentiful.
Hugh started the auction off with a gleam in his eye, the members tried to avoid eye contact but Hugh’s auctioneers expertise won through.
The banter in the room was infectious. All the members were very generous with their bidding.
Barry took over to give Hugh a break and a very unusual bidding process started.
Martin quickly devised a structure which meant Barry was bidding himself. It must have cost him a fortune, beware Martin, I’ve got a feeling that pay back is due. Ha Ha!
It was a thoroughly enjoyable evening with great company. To all our members, thank you very much for your generosity and your commitment to the club.
