Future Events



Woodfest Wales 2012.  Please note Woodfest will take place on the Kinmel Estate approx three miles past the St Asaph turn off.  More details will follow shortly.
Please forward your name to Barbara Rigg if you would like to help or demonstrate at this event for Woodart Workshops.  We will need at lot more help next year with Woodfest being a four day event.

Wood Art Workshops planned activities

 

1. Phil from Planet Tools is due to visit the club again later in the year.       .
    He will also take orders by phone to be delivered to save postage.

 2. Bill, Dave,George and Alan will be working on several projects with members. They will 
     include, Face Plate, Spindle & Bowl turning tuition.  If any one would like to take part, feel
     free to join in.
 
3. We also intend running basic turning lessons using small modules which can be aimed at 
    individual needs. Projects can then be introduced when the techniques have been
    mastered.  The idea is that you can join in when you feel its right for you.  We will
    advertise when they start on this page.
    Please let me know if you would like to join in.
   
    If anyone else would like to offer their help with these sessions, please let me know, we
    could do with your help.

Please let us have any further project ideas you would like to see or any Carved/Turned items your working on at Wood Art Workshops club, it may be of interest to others.

Would anyone like to have a go at basic box making, please let me know and we will set up a session.
